Paramount’s Carowinds Waterworks

Located 10 mile south of Charlotte, off I-77 is Carowinds Waterworks. The park has 12 coasters and 25+ high tech rides, as well as a13 acre water park that has activity pools, family slides and a wave pool. There is also a children’s area called Nickelodeon Central that contains fun for the whole family. While at Carowinds Waterpark, be sure to check out its top rides—some of which are the 3-D simulator, Drop Zone, White Water Falls and Scooby Doo’s Haunted Mansion. If you love roller coasters then queue up for Rugrat’s Runaway Coaster, the Carolina Corkscrew, or the Vortex.
